Around the world, there are millions of people who are experiencing severe food insecurity. There are around 690 million people worldwide go to bed on an empty stomach each night. Around the world, more than enough food is produced to feed the entire population but the world hunger affects approximate 10% of people globally. Small farmers and the traditional cultivators produce about 70% of the global food supply, yet they’re especially vulnerable to food insecurity. An estimated 14 million children under the age of five suffer from severe acute malnutrition. There are many homeless people lives on public places (i.e. highways, bus stations, railway stations, and crossroads) for getting food items by passing peoples. Astitvam Foundation believes in “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” considered the most important moral value in the Indian society. It is the part of a Samskrutam phrase found in ‘Mahopnishada’ VI.71-73, which means “The world is one family”. This concept describes how different nations can’t escape the common connection of concern and humanity.

Project “Feed Universe” is about solving the Hunger Issues of Disabled elders, Vulnerable People and Abandoned Animals (Cows and Dogs). Astitvam Foundation is trying to improve their nutrition values and food security graph by providing them love, care, and most important food. AF is inspiring small scale farmers and traditional cultivators to increase their productivity for a revolutionary change. AF is just a medium; Beggars are getting their meal by a supreme element, which is everywhere in everybody. Team AF is working on a mission to provide food to every disabled, vulnerable, and abandoned people. Cows and the dogs have also been looked after by the Team AF from time to time.

Now-a-days, Team AF is working on an innovative idea to launch a “Feed Card Service” through which food items of a fixed amount can be provided every month to the needy people.
